About the Training

The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Training is designed to provide more information about a management approach that combines the best of the PRINCE2 methodology and Agile practices. It is aimed at professionals who want to take their existing knowledge to an application level.

Throughout this training, you will gain a broad understanding of the combined use of PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies. It merges these two methodologies, and you will learn the best ways to complete your projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

The training teaches participants how to use PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies together. It aims to teach how to manage projects more effectively and flexibly. Additionally, it prepares participants for the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam.

What Will You Learn?

The PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner training enables project managers and project teams to manage projects more effectively by using the PRINCE2 methodology and agile methods together. Some of the topics you will learn in the training program include:
  • PRINCE2 Agile® Methodology: You will gain detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2 Agile® methodology. This methodology combines the structured elements of PRINCE2 (e.g., work packages, product tables, and stages) with agile methodologies.

Prerequisites

There are specific prerequisites for the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner certification. Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
  • A valid PRINCE2 Practitioner certification: Candidates must hold the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
  • A valid PMP® or CAPM® certification: Candidates must hold a PMP® or CAPM® certification.
  • A valid IPMA certification (Level C or higher): Candidates must hold an IPMA Level C or higher certification.
  • A valid DSDM Atern Practitioner certification: Candidates must hold the DSDM Atern Practitioner certification.
  • A valid AgilePM Practitioner certification: Candidates must hold the AgilePM Practitioner certification.
Candidates who hold one of the above certifications can directly take the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner exam. However, if you do not have any of these certifications, you may need to obtain the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification first.
